The Chicago Botanic Garden has always held a special place in our heart. Shanele and Andrew were so excited to have booked the garden as their wedding venue and so were we! These two radiant souls have a beautiful chemistry and hanging out with them is always a thrill. They love to travel, try authentic street food, and both love pursing challenges.
A dreamy Chicago botanic garden wedding
As I mentioned, we adore garden weddings and this wedding was no different. Our favorite part of the day was their dreamy first look! We chose a spot tucked away in the quiet English gardens. It was the perfect spot for Shanele and Andrew to slow down and savor every emotion. If you’ve hung out with us, you’re probably aware how deeply we believe in savoring. Before every first look we take our couples aside individually and guide them through a grounding process. In turn, this helps our couples impress richer and deeper memories.
A first look to behold
Needless to say, their first look was a sight to behold and we were teary-eyed the entire time! Hear us out : there’s nothing sweeter than stepping back and giving our couples space to savor the moment. As a result, when Andrew turned around and saw Shanele, we melted! The spring flowers were in full bloom and the trees bursting with color. A gentle breeze whispered through the garden corridors. Shanele looked stunning and Andrew handsome as ever. It was beautifully intimate. Seriously – these two encompass everything our couples are and their wedding was beyond words. We’ll never forget the sweet memories we created with these two and we’re so stinkin’ grateful to call them friends.
